Ana León Palacio is a researcher and Ph.D in Computer Science by the Universitat Politècnica de València. She holds a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Formal Methods and Information Systems. She is also University Expert in Medical Genetics and Genomics. Her research activities focus on the application of conceptual modeling to the understading of the human genome. Currently working on the SILE method for the identification of relevant variants useful in genetic diagnosis, and the application of conceptual models in the context of Explainable Artificial Intelligence. Her contributions have been published in different international conferences, journals and books
